I was cruising at 80 then dropped gears and took off it wasn't until i shifted in to 5th that it just crept along. I know 5th is for overdrive just didnt expect to just creep that slow when i shifted

First off, you should not be shifting to 5th at 115 even stock. Stock rev limit 4th gear should take you to or just north of 125. And a stock LSJ will go a solid 145mph. I did it once and my friend with a stock SS SC was right next to me. Havent gone that fast since stock

smaller pulley + hub = 90
injectors plus harness = 200
new belt = 50
tune = 200

that's not a lot of money to easily make an additional 80+ hp

I know ive priced all the parts i browse the classifieds on here all the time. just really really want to finish this car before i go into another project. i plan on buying the parts and slowly getting everything together then when i put on the exhaust setup do everything at once.

well. pulley injectors and tune will not be adding 80 lets be real here. but yeah its not that expensive to add anything to these cars.
