only time will tell for certain, but i think a LOT of people are going to be disapointed when they get the new cobalt and still run mid 14's.
umm dude... people are putting down 215-225 WHP stock.. nice try again.. not trying to be a ***** but im just telling you how it is, if you think about it... the news just came out about this car from GM at sema... not too long ago.. so i mean what makes you think right now that there would be upgrades at this time... just becasue it fits the GXP or SKy RL doesnt mean it will fit the cobalt...

Ill tell you and everyone how it is in two weeks when i get an HHR SS in and then do a write up on it considering i work at a dealer...

that's the same thing that I said. ADD drivetrain loss, not SUBTRACT drivetrain loss. 220 whp x 1.15 = what? 253. so you're talking about a difference of 7 bhp, which equals ONE whp.

and about the lack of aftermarket, again, we're saying the same thing. also, it's an absolute BITCH to tune direct injection engines.

I never said anything about parts from the sky fitting the cobalt. you made that one up \\

my only point was that again, i think many people are going to be disapointed when they finally realize that a stock ss/tc will be just about as fast as a stock ss/sc.

maybe eventually a ss/tc will be able to compete with a modded ss/sc. i'm sure it will be. but, for at least a while, it will just not be able to keep up. but again, only time will tell.
