Okay so I hear that tunes give you a lot more potential, n cost around 600$ and help save gas, true? If so does GM make a performance package wit a tune or sell it by itself on order to not void warrantee?

Edit, saw in another post that you have an '09.
GM has a Stage 1 kit that replaces a couple sensors, and then flash the computer that raises the peak boost, retains the factory warranty.

 

Ok first off what type of cobalt model do you have ss/sc or ss/tc or ss/na?

 

Look at the stickys - they've got all the information on tunes and such. Also - there's enough info out there on the factory performance tunes that a search on Google will give you all the info you need.

Can't say my tune's saving me gas - I'm too busy whomping the gas pedal!

If he's talking about the GMS 1 he might be right, right? I've only priced the sensors, and hadn't considered install time and flashing the computer
