turn signal problems
turn signal problems
Soo 2 days ago i was taking my wife to the hospital, everything is alright now, but i hit my turn signal and it made a weird pop. Then as i was taking her home last night i would turn it on and it makes a weird popping sounds and wont go off after i straighten the wheel out thats when turning on the right signal. When i turn on the left its really hard to push down and makes a louder clicking sound and again wont turn off..just curious if anyone else has had this issue...im going to take it to a gm dealer here in a few minutes just not looking forward to the outcome haha
Good morning thejoey12,
Very glad to hear that everything is okay after your wife's visit to the hospital. How was your visit to the dealership on Friday afternoon?

I'm also having turn signal issues. WHen i put it on to turn left, it blinks once and stops, but when i go right it stays on for the full time. It also does not return to the standard position after the turn is complete. Some one had mentioned a clock spring?!
Yes, I am having the same issue. Someone said there is a cam inside the signal that sometimes pops out of place. I have to hold it down when turning left, and cancel it after a right turn. Luckily being a truck driver I am used to clearing out my own signals. The little bit of shopping I did online says it is 85 from the dealer, have seen it as low as 60.
Probably going to take it apart fairly soon.

actually take it apart and check to see if the little spring fell out of the holder you may just need to take a pair of needle nose pliers and put it back in place i just fixed my old one...
