http://www.bbracecars.com/2008_racing_news_archive.html tons on there. granted they are full tube chassis race cars that wouldnt be suitable for street use.

**** they did it with a GTI, they could probably do it to a Cobalt

Wow. There is quite a few RWD cobalts built by them. Wonder how much they would charge for a RWD setup?

Just buy the G8, it will be much easier/faster/safer/enjoyable/cheaper

The only FEASIBLE 'cheap' way to make a V8 cobalt is use a northstar



PERIOD

Forget about cheap and RWD...or trying to turn a RWD engine sideways and making a one off FWD V8


Because that will be expensive.

The physical size of the northstar is smaller.

At the very least the GTI needed one off axles, but other than that it was a pretty simple swap.

Expensive I can get around that lol ill go to mexico there's this place were they put stolen engines in so price wise not worry too much but would be cool to see a cobalt v8 someone rolls up next to you in a camaro and you smoke him and do a victory burn out with the back tires lol
