Anything made from like 1992 and up I have a pretty good idea on.

Or know where to look or who to ask.

And shame on you being an Ecotec owner and now knowing all about the Northstar.

on my other car forum the admin did a full RWD conversion on a 2002 Grand Am GT he used a supercharged northstar v8... took him almost a year to fab it all up.. had to make a tranny hump and knock back the firewall a few inches....

Because I wouldn't want people to find out how much I spent to get LNF power just to have a v8
Someone say something?

How would you go awd?

There is nothing GM small enough to run to a center dif, then a rear dif, and now we are talking custom custom parts.

You could buy a ZR-1 probably by the time you are finished.

It would probably be cheaper to put an engine in the rear and making it a twin engine car.

On a cobalt, you would have to go with a completely one off built IRS to do awd.

Now I havea head ache

Maybe take a DSM awd Tranny/transfer case/rearend then have a custom drive shaft/axles/adapter plate made and it could work.

I dont see how a awd v8 cobalt could even be custom built
