The Vibrant exhaust was designed to bolt up to either the stock LSJ downpipe, or the 2.5" Vibrant downpipe that comes with their 4-2-1 header.

The stock LSJ downpipe reduces to 2.5" at the outlet fyi.

haha i do and i have a 3inch down pipe so now i have to wait to put the vibrant exhaust on because now im going to have to order a flange from zzp and get it welded on.

wtf is the point of hving a 3 inch exhaust that starts out as a 2.25????

Is that what it measures at the inlet flange?

I would assume it is smaller diameter at the inlet flange to accept the Vibrant 2.5" downpipe, or stock LSJ downpipe.

Hahns 3" catback did the same thing, except it was a modular design. If you had a 3" bolt on downpipe you didnt need to use the 2.5" reducer.

yea thats what it messures at the inlet flange, so now i gotta come up with a 3 inch flange to get welded on the vibrant exhaust now. or if auto zone carries 3 inch exhaust couplings ill hack the flange off the down pipe and the exhaust and connect them together.

Yeah, looks like that is the route you will have to go.

It shouldnt be expensive, just a pain that it wont bolt right up.
