Vibrant/GMPP issue?

So I got my Vibrant header/dp today and I was pretty excited, then someone was saying how the Vibrant header/dp with GMPP exhaust wouldn't work. Major buzzkill haha. Some people are saying "good setup" others are saying not, I want some clarity. Thoughts?

cant see why it wont work. vibrant header/dp is designed to bolt to the stock exaust, gmpp is designed to bolt to the stock downpipe. should work just fine.

It won't bolt straight up... and 2 you are going from a 3" downpipe to a 2.25" exhaust... so you have a very expensive 2.25" exhaust system!

I understand the whole size/flow thing, I just want to know whether or not it will work. I've spent the money on the parts and I'm just looking for an answer. They're not permanent, I can always go back and change them in the future...
Anyone have the combo?

Okay, thanks, that was my question. I'll sacrifice some gain for now. If I like the sound, I'll stick with it, if not I can always change it. It's more for sound anyway. And besides, my flux capacitor should be here next week so it'll more than make up for it haha
