DUDE, NO, its NOT a TSB or anything wrong with the car!!!!!!! It's the way you put your component speakers in, and I even warned you about it in the thread you made about your new components with the pictures of the big gaps below them!!!!!!!!!

Well what I did for right now, is made a little shelf above the speaker to divert the water behind the magnet, then taped the top of the back of the speaker itself (confusing enough? lol). Like I said the water gets inside the door at the window, drips down right on the back of the speaker cone, follows the cone to the bottom, then out on the inside of the car, so you need to stop that from happening(you can see what's happening by pulling the inside door panel off and running a garden hose where the bottom of the window meets the door, thats how I figured it out). I just closed the holes at the top of the speaker from the magnet to the surround where it bolts onto the car. I taped it probably half way around or a little more. Make sure you leave the bottom open or it will probably hurt the frequency response of the speaker.

The proper fix is to buy baffles which is what I'm going to do. I was looking at these. But again, if you buy baffles, make sure you cut the bottom out or frequency response will suffer. Also, make sure you roll the window down if you're making a shelf out of tape or installing a baffle. It would suck to get it all put back together and have stuff interfere with the window rolling down!

This should really be in the audio/video section, maybe if a mod runs across this they can put it there. There are undoubtedly going to be more people with the same problems.

Good question - my driver floor never got wet either. Well, maybe it did a little once. Not sure why, maybe less water gets into the door on the driver side for some reason??

I changed my speakers to MB Quarts and went out this morning and found the drivers side flooded after a rain storm. Odd part was the passenger side was the one originally with water on the floor board but I noticed that the rain was pooring down at an angle into the drivers side more the the passengers last night.

Order baffles a minute ago and hope that will cure it. Seemed when I replaced the speaker though there was a tight fit without any gaps in the mount.....Dunno

Yeah there's also a known problem with the sun roof drains doing that. Do you have a sunroof?
