water....

Hey guys,
hope this is the right section for my post but otherwise some help/advice would be appreciated....06 SS/SC, back in say Feb/Mar pulled my spare to freshen up the trunk area only to find it encased in ice, everything in the trunk was removed and ever since im finding water after every rain and in central Pa that's nearly every day with our daily afternoon thunderstorms during the summer, anyhow, any ideas on where its getting in ?? cant find any spots that look like water trails leading to the spot the spare sits only that along the pass side behind the trunk liner where the sunroof flow tube (?) is I also have water, heard that since I had the car parked near a tree in the past the area around the sunroof may have clogged up the flow tube, only thing is if that was the case why would I have water in the trunk and along the pass side?? any help is appreciated as im getting tired of bailing water out of my trunk on an almost daily basis anymore,
thanx

I'm not familiar with sunroof drain so can't tell you if that is your cause or not. But if it rains every day you could just drop the back seats out and watch from the inside with a flashlight to see where the water is coming from. Alternatively you could have a friend run a water hose on the outside of the car in suspect locations until you find the source of the leak.

Maybe instead of water, run a smoke machine from inside the car. Less time drying the car out lol.
