Water Crevices

Have any of you experienced any annoying water crevices that are present on the Cobalt? What I mean is any particular annoying areas that you notice holding water and cause dripping or water trails after you have dried the car. I don't have my Cobalt (SS/SC) yet and I'm curious to hear about the community's experience with this issue. From my visual inspection it looks as if the rear quarter panel may hold water after a "quick" drying and cause a run-down or flutter of water when driving off. My cavalier has several of those "areas" that I have to pay attention to when drying the car after a wash.

Thanks for any input guys and gals!

The plastic grill on the ground effects in the rear is really bad as far as holding water is concerned

The only place(s) I've been having trouble is around the trunk, mostly where it meets the window and where it meets the rear bumper. A few times water has even trickled out of the bow tie on the trunk, but i digress. Its not a ton of water, which is good. Other than that, just keep an eye out for the normal water holes, ie sunroof, mirrors etc....

i really havent noticed anything on the front end though.

- Grilles in rear bumper
- Front grille
- L&R Spoiler base
- The black piece under the wipers likes to hold water
- Under the trunk
- Mirriors

Otherwise I haven't noticed a whole lot of other problem spots.

The trunk area and the rear quarter above the rear tires up to where the bottom corners of the rear window are water trouble spots. The style of the tailights also hold water annoyingly well.

I hate it when your car looks perfect after drying it. Then you go drive around for 10 minutes and there is a mud puddle on the bumper.

Me too. It's a little annoying, but most of it comes from the styling of the car.

I always pop the trunk and wash the top of the bumper and then had dry it. Usually poping the truck lid will also clear up some of the water hiding in the wing.
