Water weter/purple ICE.


Do these things work?...how well?...

any body useing them or have past use with them?.

Do you know our fluid cap. for the rad. and heat exchanger? Purple Ice will treat 15 qts per bottle.

I gonna poor a bottle in to each...we'll prob have to let some fluid outta the intercooler do to its very small res.

tried it, they did drop my ait2's by about 6 degrees under a hard run. don't expect big gains from them.

don't use the whole bottle, the capacities are in the owners manual. When I did water wetter I had to do half the amount in the charger system and then drive home and do the other half, overflow runs of while driving. I think it was only 4 oz of it in the super charger system. The only benifit I saw on the collant system was it took a little longer to heat all the way up and seems to go back down faster after idle, but I don't have any aftermarket gauges.

I"m running it in my C/A front mount H/E but I also have an extra 1-2 quart fluid capacity now... seems to work alright
