Went to the dealership

Went to the dealership here in Charlotte down Independence and I found a new 07 Orange Cobalt SS price on it was $21,2and some change. I thought to myself thats a nice price for it. Discuss to me whats a g-85 i think or package everybody talks about, the car was blacked out leather and had the nice steering wheel not the big one. Is that a good price?

ITs the performance package for the SS/SC. Comes with Limited Slip Differential and used to come with Recaros...besides that I Dont know the other benefits of it

The G85 package includes the Recaro seats and Limited Slip Differential. Was that price for a SS/SC or a SS/NA? I'm assuming the SS/SC since it had the G85 package, so yea that would be a good price.

Yea there will be an '08. Many rumors about being possibly turbo instead of sc...but that is a highly controversial subject .

if its a ss/sc yeah i guess, but if its a 2.4 ss, then its too high. a 2.4 at that price would have to have every option on it, and at that point it wouldnt be worth it. I say for a 2.4 anything over 19-20g is too much.

$21 and change is a good price....

I've seen that car sitting down at City Chevrolet... I drive by there a lot... it's right near my house.

If orange is the color for you, then go for it.

Have you ever test driven one of these things?

So this guy is getting a great price we can probably agree.

So lemme semi-jack this thread (I abhor making new threads).

I am undecided on whether or not to wait until more 07's come out or buy a leftover 06. I like the in-dash CD changer for 07 but that's not that big of a deal. There is an 06 SS/SC Red with XM, sunroof, G85 (obviously this has the Recaro's but apparently 07's don't have them even though the brochure says they do).

MSRP $23,475 with an Edmunds value of 22k and some change.

I'm sure they are more willing to deal on an 06 and this is the vehicle I wouldn't be disappointed with for buying a leftover (options wise).

So what do you all think is a fair price on a leftover if TC is getting an 07 for practically the same???

Gracias!
