Not the only one
I'm getting the LS with the sport package too... the SS is too far out of my price range. it'd be 400 per month for 60 months with the financing i'd get... But I'm not too much of a street racer type, i've just always been in love with the Impala tails (that's right not corvette but impala) and just been waiting for them to come out with a 2 door with the tails. BTW Sunburst Orange, sunroof, CD/MP3 and will install my 2 kicker comp VR 10's in the trunk along with my Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten 6X9's in the rear, if that is the size in the back.

If I can ill go with the cobalt LS hopefully Fusion Orange metallic (aka sunburst orange) with some nice sound options, any idea when those will be on the showroom?

Man, some of u guys sound spoiled, gettin it as a gift.
**** dude, I thought I was happy to get my dad's old cavalier, a couple years ago. Anyway, the N/A 2.4 sounds like the ticket, no low body kit or huge wing as a vision obsticle. On top of that, it is probably going to be cheaper and get better gas milage. who cares if its .5- 1 seconds slower in a quarter mile, sill a blast to drive! My plan is to buy myself this car (if the 2.4l is out) for my birthday next october.

depends on how you want to build the car really, if you want boost that will have limitations and are not looking for really high hp numbers get the ss/sc, if you want a big engine with variable valve timing and plan on adding a turbo to it get a 2.4 ss, if you want something with a low monthly payment that has many readily available performance parts out for it already then get an ls
