yea perfect driving and perect conditions atleast in the low 15's very high 14's......the 2.4's are running 15.2 in the 1/4.......I came very close to that with a full tank of 87. many of the s/c guys don't like the fact that we are not far behind them stock for stcok

people with simmilar mods have pulled low to mid 15's.
i think your chances of low 15s would be way better if you drove stick, but for the auto, im gonna say mid 15's and i dont see you doing too much better without boost

You seem to have a real hate-on against SS/SC owners... many of the posts I've seen you make have similar quips as above. Trying to compensate for something?

Anyways, I'll go out on a limb and say mid 15's... We all know that the car is capable of that.

no...i don't have to compensate for anything....the cobalt is my grocery getter....the real car is sitting next to it in the driveway. compensate for what?....a 14 second 1/4....no thanks i stick to the 12's. Also, I have never put down a s/c.....just the people who drive them whom get all "butt hurt" when someone puts on the s/c wing. other than that I happen to get along fine with the other cobalt "enthusiasts"

Im going to go with low 16s. The auto is going to kill you. The dealer I got my car from had an auto SS 2.4 ther and the sales guys raced it agenst a 22. 5-speed and it lost. Not by much though. Like a fender in a 0-60 run

wait are you suggesting that the cobalt is your Grocery getter and that the GTO is yours because from all your other posts I seem to recall you stating that’s your moms GTO ... in which case it seems more reasonable that the GTO is the real Grocery getter ..

sorry I meant Boyfriend

So why take your Grocery Getter to the Track ??

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...3&postcount=16

and how does someone who is 19 afford a LS2 GTO and Cobalt SS not to mention ..what kind of 19 year old needs a Grocery Getter?

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/members/cobalt443-4630/

why would you trade a 2.2 for a 2.4 if it was only meant to get groceries

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...2&postcount=13

why would you mod your Grocery getter ? do you need to get Groceries faster ?

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...301#post158301

and if its really your car how come here is says when your boyfriend bought the GTO

both of our names are on BOTH cars....including our house deed.....now it is understandable to refute how a 19 year old could afford all of this...i absolutely understand where you're coming from...i call the gto mine as much as he calls the cobalt his. i work for a very well reconized company which pays very well. i got office experience as an intern all throughout the end of middle school and all of high school. i actually just got engaged last night also....will post pics in a seperate thread. the gto is his daily driver while the cobalt is mine yet we mix match whenever. you can think what you want and refute what you want. if it makes you feel better/cool to try and put other people down, that's fine b/c at the end of the day i know whom and to what i go home to
