I paid $2200, for mine.. its a 99 1.8L and mechanically sound. it needs a new soft top and has some rust but I got two sets of rims/tires with it and it blue books in worst condition for $2400.. I'm decently happy with that pickup. I'll fix her up with time. Its always nice having a project

for a 99 that's a steal if it's running body panels are cheap tops aren't to bad to replace... clubroadster.net is the young guys forum miata.net is the old guys forum with great how-to write ups.

yea it runs fantastic for having 166k timing belt and all that was done around 50k ago. Clutch/trans feels great. mechanically I have yet to find an issue. most of the issues lie in cosmetics which can be fixed. and yea I'm looking into which forum to browse around. Due to the tear in the top I'm likely going to tear the carpeting out as its been damp and use bedliner to coat what is exposed (depending on condition of everything), replace the top, install a hard dog HC M2 rollbar, and find replacement or upgraded seats.. only after all that then begins the task of media blasting and POR15 coating everything on the car in prep for what will be the makings of another monster miata..

read above... and idc what FWD car you compare it to, nothing beats swinging it around a corner sideways. I still love my fully bolted SS/TC to no end (and also enjoyed my fully bolted/tuned LT w/ fe5 upgrades), but it doesnt compare to the low-speed fun you can have with the miata..

but wait this is CSS where sheer power means all and weight distribution and car balance are heavily ignored as can be seen in every single BRZ thread ever written here.. so nvm

I don't think so... I hope not... They don't want me to move it because of the windshield.. But if for some crazy reason it does we are gonna hop the boarder and run off to Mexico together. Just restart our lives together. Now you have me all worried.

If it's got a rebuilt title or been a write off before I'm almost sure the car is a total loss. At least it would be if it was here with our public insurance.

Nope it's got clean everything. It was a rental car before I got it in 2010 and had nothing at all wrong with it.

This is gonna be the first time I've had to pay the deductable ever. Last two times were taken care of by the people that hit me insurances. First time I was parked with the car off at Walmart and some old lady ran right into me and second some guy was texting, ran a red light, and tboned me..

oh ok, well thats good then, that would suck if u had to all three times. and stupid **** bags. im surprised it was ok after being tboned........i got rear ended and the ******* didnt pay his insurance so it was up like 3 days before he hit me. so i had to pay 250 for uninsured motorist smh. im almost positive his ass was texting because the first thing he said when he got out of the car was "do you have a phone to call the cops because i dont have one...." i almost MURDERED the son of a bitch luckily my gf at the time was there.....1600 worth of damage from doing maybe 20mph smh.

Put on my drilled and slotted rotors, new hawk pads, and got the old downpipe off before it started raining. Still gotta put the ZZP catless on.

Trying to resolve a P0303 code for the last two days, thank God for having an interceptor lol, did a misfire read so hope to start off with the most basic essential "spark plugs" then go from there. Tomorrow gonna get that zzp catted downpipe installed and a interior trim swap with amproz can't wait
