Took my car up to Powell's to get the valves cleaned, had him throw in the rotated trans mount while I was there as well.

Idles smoother and I'm noticing that I'm getting much better fuel mileage when cruising at a constant speed. Definitely worth the drive up to have John clean them.
Next up is new arms with spherical tcabs.
Probably around 6-7 hours total spread over the last week, that's not including curing time for epoxy/JB weld. I bought the Stage III kit from TRS for $320, Osram bulbs $180, epoxy/JB weld, paint and other odds and ends were another $150ish.
If you use the meth a lot they will be clean as a whistle. I remember ff_ace pulled his im and head at 68000 miles and the intake runners, valves, pistons etc looked brand new. He had a meth and E-47 tune from me for most of that time. Dont know why he built the motor it was not broken.
