My car is never parked on the street. Thankfully.
To some it might be just a Cobalt.... To me, I purchased it brand new right out of college with the money I worked hard to save. I will not risk it getting damaged just because it's not some exotic car.

People across the street always have a bunch of cars parked in the street. One night they got plowed into by a Charger. It's a neighborhood street, no turns or anything.
My wife was parked in the street at a friend's house. The neighbor backed out of her driveway into my wife's driver door (she was parked ACROSS THE STREET). The lady didn't stop because "it didn't feel like it was much damage." We informed her it was, then she got upset at the friend and told her "not to let her friends park across from her driveway."
I HATE parking in the street. Doesn't matter what car it is. Even a rental! People are freaking insane.

I work in the shittiest part of town with street parking only. There are really only two options:
1. Public transit (LOL **** THAT)
2. Unemployment
Once we move I might contemplate a nicer car, but for now the Cobalt SS remains. It's already been repainted and has full coverage so I am not too worried about it.

My parents don't have a garage. so whenever I park my car in their drive way I have to keep moving it because my dad hits everything. I parked it beside the drive way once and my dad hit it backing his truck up. I then moved it to a different spot on the property and my dad hit it with a lawn tractor. then I moved it to a different spot and my dad hit it with a four wheeler. and then I parked it where he had no possibility with hitting the car and he hit it with my moms car somehow. so now i park on the road. and it is a long walk to get to my parents house from the road, like 200 -300 feet.
