I don't think most people understand lol. These tracks are up a mountain and the mountain gets taller every time they redo the tracks. It's probably 2ft tall now. I'll really have to get a pic some time.

Wow lol. We have some pretty high ones here but not that high. I got all 4 tires off the ground in my jeep one time, not paying attention. Scared the **** outta me.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The crossing in Anthony at Washington Street. By the McDonald's. By "mountain" I mean the track sits like 2ft higher than the road and it gets higher every couple years. But wait! There are 2 tracks and each track is a different height. So now you have to wobble and be thrown around because you go up-then-down-then-up-then-down.

BTW I google image searched "worst railroad crossings" and damn I wish this one was like some of those.

Yeah it is. They didn't have my size in this tire so it's stock height. I was running 1" taller tires before. Really making me wanna get some lowering springs, but I'd only do it if they could perform really well. I'd never buy them just for looks.

Those are the ones I'm considering. Not a bad price either. Comparable to Eibach prices.

Emperor's Car is on H&Rs with Koni Yellows. That's what I would do if I owned a balt. Looks mint.

IDK, I've heard the H&Rs are harsh and break things.

Yesterday I put my resonator back on that was warrantied by zzp.

Sounds great and they provided me with a brand new unit.

Best part was I sent it out Friday and got it back on Tuesday!! was a very quick turn around..

I don't understand why occasionally I see people who claim they were mistreated by zzp.
I have only ever had really good experiences with them.

Customer service always responds quickly and are very helpful.

I need to got some pictures of my car for the sig, but its all rainy or cloudy last couple days.

They are. Thats the lowest spring and your sacrificing your ride comfort. Id recommend the ottp springs as well as the roadmagnet. They are both a compromise between height and comfort. Roadmagnets have a raked look and ottp does not.

Snail had the OTTP springs and I had the feeling he didn't like them a lot but didn't want to stir the pot. Maybe I'm reading too much in between the lines though. Definitely going to save for the Road Magnet and get them in my color, unless OTTP can sway me and they go on sale for a great price on BF.

I believe snail had crap struts or something that affected his ride. Ive got no problem with them. Staged seems to be really in love with those roadmagnets tho. Prolly your best bet.

Coba- I completely agree about zzp, I kinda think the people who are complaining just want free stuff. Squeaky wheel gets the grease right lol

Jesse- You don't drive the same as anyone else so you are only getting there opinion so keep that in mind on your decision.

My opinion - I have eibach sportlines and stance coils in my garage I switched to yyz. Like you stated above I think yyz is the best performance for your buck this is just my opinion tho.

But the fact is yyz springs have actually been track test and proven to perform well in our cars and I'm pretty sure they are made specifically for our cars and are not just a suspension company building them to lower your car know what I mean. Also the yyz springs has been changed and even more improved since its original design I think they are on the V5 now. I don't know about other companies maybe some else can chime in.

But I do know if your are interested in a certain item someone will gladly review and give you there honest opinion on the product.

I am not trying to steer you in a certain direction, But I wanted you to know all the right info to help you better or make the right decision and not do what I did and have wasted money sitting in my garage lol.

Hope this helps and keep us posted.

I appreciate the honest feedback. I do drive VERY aggressively through turns, not so much on speed anymore, but I do like to take turns as quickly as possible. I do race people when they want to, and maybe sometimes floor it just to hear the engine breathe but don't really break the speed limit unless I'm not paying attention. I am not sure I can justify the cost of YYZ especially since I don't need new springs, I just want them. Really my plan was to buy a semi-pro DSLR anyway. The only reason I got new wheels was because my steelies were bent to **** and my tires up front looked like this(oops? ):

Nope I had the konis up front and rear with the ottp springs. I loved the drop for sure. Ride was ok but I blame my tires at that time for the ride quality/road noise. When I installed the yyz I had around the same quality ride until I changed my 2 front tires then things changed plus i wasnt aligned for the ottp springs so that could of affected my feel so thats why I never spoke wrong about them
