I still need to get my tune ironed out 100% and hit the rollers

Last dyno was 161/148, so I'm hoping to beat that this time

Fixed a MASSIVE exhaust leak after swapping to a ZZP 3" catless and busting one of the exhaust studs awhile back. just got it taken care of, it's so much quieter now. I can almost hardly tell it's catless unless WOT

Super secret, LNF auto drag car.

Yes it's plastic, roughly the same thickness as the top side engine covers on the base models.

You drill a hole into the inner shaft to insert a cotter pin into. Then drill a hole up towards the top of the gas strut so that the pressure is relieved. Tom and I did this on his 2.2 with a CF hood in order to use it still. This picture is the best I could find of it. You'll want some sort of lanyard and another spot to clip it, we drilled an extra hole down at the opposite end to place the cotter pin when not in use.
hell to the ya. thanks man

Took the scenic route home today. Also decided that the longer I weigh my options on a large purchase, the more indecisive I become.

Yeah right now it's like a constant nagging. Do I go for 17s and summer tires that weigh the same as stock steelies? Or for pretty much the same price go for 15" RPF1s with all-seasons and shed 9-10lbs per corner? Seriously can't make up my mind. Someone slap me!

Lol well what are your plans for the car? Is loosing that weight that important to you? I would do summer tires tho

I don't even know anymore. My concern with summer tires is that they may get me into an accident if it decides to snow. That's not a big deal though. I'm sure I could get some cheap all-seasons for winter here and still buy the 17s with summer tires. But I'm approaching 145k rapidly and the compression test I did the other day kind of disappointed me in more ways than one.

Worst-case scenario: I stay NA until the car starts burning massive amounts of oil. This is where the light wheels/tires shine.

Best-case scenario: I get a large profit and rebuild the motor with forged everything and crank out some serious HP. I don't give one single **** how much my wheels/tires weigh.

35lbs for 17s with tires is hard to beat. I'm just greedy. I'm going to be making my decision very soon though. The all-seasons I would buy if I did the RPF1s have a $90 rebate going right now.

Take it from someone who constantly has people trying to race. Put a carbon trunk and LED tails on it. The fools will come.

I had a little scion tC try to race me on an on ramp, by the time I shifted to third (got on it mid first gear) he was ~3cars back, but the time I hit the top of 3rd there was buses. Then he did a ricer pull up on my ass as I was cruising down the highway and failed a ricer flyby onto an off ramp

I don't understand why kids who get schooled by a faster car feel the need to come riding up on your ass or perform the famous ricer fly by.

You lost deal with it, lol.

Kids these days seem to have no knowledge of other cars performance or potential... They think because they have a muffler & intake they can take on the world.

More times than none, I have slow cars trying to mess with me rather than actual competition.

Exactly. The failed ricer flyby was the best though, he slowed down a bit then i'm assuming went WOT trying to hit it right so he could pull onto the off ramp and speed by me. But he got on it to early had to brake, wait then exit and try to speed up

The best thing is when they ricer flyby right past an officer with radar.
