Just my patience. And tolerance. I had to leave so I just left the vacuum on and went to church. We will see how bad it looks and if worse comes to worse I can tear the carbon out and start over.
Installed these that I freshly made and I am currently wrapping my mirror covers in red Kevlar hybrid. I'm going to be testing these at high speeds hopefully soon. I just need a clear road without police.
One thing to keep in mind is they can be seen with the hood closed...
I'm going to order more carbon because I'm running low. I'm also going to buy the white hybrid fiberglass, blue Kevlar, and orange Kevlar tonight. I may or may not buy any more red until I run out.
The contrast looks nice long as you don't overdo it. It's tasteful.
Oh, I'm definitely going to overdo it with this car. There's no doubt about that. Just to see how much cool stuff I can make lol. And yeah Eddie I'll let you know! I'm having trouble making both sides glossy so I'll make one of each and you can see what you like better.

Lol I meant using black carbon instead of red carbon. I just think the different color reds would work against each other unless you got a very similar one to your cars color. But I'm digging the red and black carbon contrast!

Take a look at my valve cover. That piece on top is made from the red hybrid. It's actually a really close match. I was surprised! I know I want to do the dash trim with it but not sure what else. Maybe I'll just wrap the whole car with it
That's in my plans! I'm considering a one-piece fuse/ECM cover for my personal car and making fuse covers for others. Mine is broken to **** though so I need to get a replacement to hack up.
I REALLY like that contrast with the carbon fiber just peaking through with the hood closed!!!! I can't get over it lol it's the type of subtle look that makes you look twice at the car!
I'm hoping to start making a ton of these soon. I have two pairs done now. One for me to test the limits of, and this set which has been angle cut so the twill is pleasing to look at. This second pair just needs a finishing with some sandpaper on the edges and maybe a coat of UV stable clear.

Damn this blew up overnight... Don't worry guys, I ordered enough carbon to make 10 regular sets of these and it should be here soon. I also ordered enough for 5 sets of honeycomb carbon fiber for the heck of it. I'm waiting to order the white and blue since they don't seem popular for headlight covers. I'll wait until I have some molds to make dash trim before I order more hybrid fabric.
The difficult part is going to be setting a price. In the end each set will cost quite a bit to make.
