I don't mind it. It has decent enough power. The transmission tables could use tweaking, especially at wot, but I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate that.
Today drI Bing with recaros made me wonder... How the hell I could deal with the lsj seats so long! The recaros give you so much more support, and they are comfy
I've been SUPER miserable the past few days, to the point I didn't have the energy to even get out of bed to use the bathroom. But today I felt much better and decided to at least do something in carbon fiber until I can get my damn polishing supplies. Snail gave me the idea. I got the driver side done and the passenger side will be done maybe tomorrow.

I picked up mine in August. So comfortable and they look really cool too.
^ I actually did my ottp springs, koni rear shocks, and oem front struts today. Car is totally different now, just waiting on my control arms....
Damn I've been busy this weekend
My car had never had struts put on, still on the factory ones. I replaced all 4 and put some SSC springs on em with a Powell hardcore bar and its incredible the difference it made.

It's crazy isn't it? Suspension really wakes these cars up I'm wishing I started there instead of buying go fast shiny parts
Pulled the timing cover, found half a broken guide laying in the oil pan, found the guide bolt sheared off the face of the motor, replaced all the timing ****, other than the tensioner. putting the VC back on today, but have to pull the oil pan and get the damn guide and reseal it now.
After I washed the car I decided to polish the headlights. They're not nearly as bad as my Integra lights got, but they were starting to get a haze and no me gusta. I had tried just the PlastiX polish stuff, but it didn't last long. I got the full restoration kit and tried it out. It looks pretty good. Time will tell though.

After:
The kit includes a 1000-grit sanding circle, 3000-grit, a little polishing/applicator thing for a drill, some plastiX polisher, and protectant. The edges weren't possible to clean with the headlights still on the car, but I wasn't worried enough to pull them out.
FWIW, my wife's VW Tiguan has identical miles and is also a 2009. Her headlights look better than mine AFTER polish. Some plastics are better than others.
