Took intake off and switch cores how they are supposed to be.

It solved my air pocket problem and also it was causing a lot of turbulence in the system and frothing up the coolant.

Temps seem the same but I havent driven it much yet.

Two awesome days this weekend in the 60's

Installed shorty headers and 3" cat-less down pipe
Heat resistant wrapped CAI
More re-looming of wiring
Assembled Dual Pass Manifold with new o-rings
Installed Manifold vent fittings
Ordered new LSJ A/C line to run under the manifold
Ordered new Condenser since the system will be opened up.

Drove it to work. Some moron was stopped in the driving lane of a two-lane highway, no flashers or anything. I slowed down to about 30 and made sure nobody was coming the other way. Downshifted to 2nd and floored it past them, basically lit their car up with 2 liters of supercharged exhaust and blower noise.

Also when you drive a truck and go back to the Cobalt, it feels like a go-kart. A very fast go-kart.

What messes with me is the differences in clutches. They both engage at different points and the truck clutch is heavier so it feels like mine is broken in the Cobalt when I hop in because it is so light.

Def. my truck lets out at the top and has a cable throttle. The Cobalt grabs pretty much off the floor and has the drive by wire. I'm used to the SS but I usually muff a few shifts when I start driving the truck until I get used to it again, lol.

Parked it inside.

This is going to be the first snowstorm since 2007 that I haven't commuted to work in the Cobalt.

Don't forget he's a Canadian so they already have an elevated disadvantage on price.

Head studs
