Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. It's closure so I can spend my time and efforts on something more worth it. 200hp bug will put even corvettes to shame. I think I'll focus on that instead.

I finally changed out all four rotors to the maxbrakes set I bought a while back. What a night and day difference in braking. I knew my old rotors were warped but damn these are smoooooth.

Mine are due for replacement soon, too. A little too much wobble for my taste.

That's my next project - intermediate shaft and the suspension. I still need to buy the struts, but getting the FE5 kit.

...and I need to email Gloria for the Powell XXX rear sway bar, although I could just drive to his shop

Make sure to center your new rack before you put it in. I highly recommend the Dorman steering shaft. It's a beast in comparison to the stocker.

Actually, Dorman was the one I bought from RockAuto. I have Dorman control arms after a busted the OEM one (left) from an unavoidable pothole... But I think those were consider FE3 for whatever reason.

Cobalt #1. Swapped Transmission mount. Still clunks when I push the clutch in and shift gears.

Cobalt #2. Oil change and new spark plugs. Replaced passenger side mirror and got a new spare.

Got into boost in town just so I could let off near a few people and scare the crap out of them with the "kicking a dog" bpv sound. Never gets old.
