What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?

From what I understand it needs to be as close to the head as possible and should be about 2-3in after the individual pipes go into the collector to get a even read on all cylinders. So I guess it depends on how much space you have in the collector on the header side, probably gonna be the top of the downpipe if you have a stock header.

I was thinking about keeping the header the same, but changing out the downpipe for now as it's the most restricted part of the exhaust. So I would need to tap just past the collector then.

Ok, it is indeed a Fifth Generation (2000-2006) Nissan Sentra SE.
Here lately I've been paying attention to older compact cars with spoilers for some reason. Kind of makes me think there's a real performance version and how that version stacks up against my years Cobalt.
In this case its true! In 2006 Nissan made a Sentra SE-R SPEC-V
It seems as though the SPEC V was a direct competitor to the Cobalt SS/NA in 2006. Something I never would have known if I didn't take a few pics of my new tire gloss! lol
Not too shabby looking but a bit too 'boxy' for me.The color helps.

The 20042006 SE-R Spec V's horsepower were rated at 175 hp (130 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 180 lb⋅ft (244 N⋅m) of torque at 4,500 rpm.

Spent all day getting these put on. Had to run 15mm spacers to get them to clear the Brembos. All in all I'm happy with the fitment. The rears rub a tiny bit on big bumps but nothing too serious. Sorry for the dirty car pics, haven't washed her in a bit.

Not a fan of the color but that design is pretty wicked. Looks good.
Upgraded shifter boot
installed a new Redline performance leather shift boot in millennial yellow and Dark carbon, also applied some Mcguires Ultimate wax to it for protection.

How well does it fit and if your car is yellow how well does the color match. I need to replace my boot and was thinking of getting one of their custom ones.

Front or rear? I just replaced both rears. Coil spring is in the way of the two lower bolts... at first I thought I'd have to remove them, but I just ended up rotating it to move the coil out of the way.

Made in China. The coatings are garbage. I ended up cleaning the area off with a wire brush, and putting down a small amount of anti-seize so when I do replace them again, it doesn't rust weld itself.

I don't understand how yal have so many hub issues. Ive replaced maybe two in 5 years on customers cars and they were gravy. None on either of mine have needed replacement. Its gotta be something about how far north yall are.

Salt hastens the oxidization by like... 1000%. And the north has 4 seasons, not 2.5 in the south (Spring, Summer, Summer, Fall for 1 month, loop back to Spring)
