What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
Had the huge ZZP resonator ripped out today, and a Solo Performance resonator installed (GM Quiet Kit p/n E23305). The ZZP metal hanger at the res still sits way too low and angled down. I put a poly hanger on there for now to replace the rubber one (ordered set from Modern Performance).
The tone is diff and not as deep (but still LOUD), but there is decreased rumble/vibration inside the cab now. Need some sound deadener, Dynamat or whatever. Prob try another muffler as well, as I picked up a ZZP shorty header, and no doubt will be even louder.
Was not expecting it to be such a tuning game between resonator and muffler. I will find the right tone to my liking eventually.

If you're looking to save a bit of cash, instead of dynamat, try Noico. Been running that stuff for the last few months and it's been great. FTR, I got the 80 mil stuff
After I believe boiling my DOT 4 at my last track day I may have gone a bit overboard. I added a set of SS brake lines, Powell Racing Brake Scoops and some Willwood EXP 600 Plus DOT 4 fluid. I actually believe the fluid boiled simply because of age; I think I needed a good flush.

Replaced my exhaust system today and bled the clutch. I still had the factory exhaust on there which not only blew a hole through the top of the muffler

but the pipe internally rusted completely away from the tip (the tip was being held on by the welds on the side which broke off when I wiggled it a bit).

Anyway, I installed this Hahn setup:

Which installed beautifully. Super easy. After driving a bit with it I am super happy with it.

Recently in the last year I installed a south bend stage 4 clutch (broke my 2nd clutchmasters clutch). Replaced 2 tires. Replaced my axle seals, shifter cables, e-brake cables. Repaired an a/c leak and a/c wiring issue, zzp lowering springs, then after 6 months the struts were creaking and I found that the bearing plates rotted through so I had to redo that all again. Recently replaced the rear pads and resurfaced the rotors (found the left rear caliper pins frozen in the bushings, had to remove the bushings and wire brush and clean the holes for the bushings). And changed the oil and did an alignment. The stuff I still need to do
1.-order my short throw shifter and install my new boot
2.- replace 2 more tires and all 4 tpms sensors
3.- order new factory front struts and swap out the struts themselves and another alignment
4.- replace my weeping valve cover and do a coolant flush

This was actually two days ago and it took a bit of time to get together but it's my last session of my last track day for the season (most likely) I was back at Pocono Raceway with SCCA TrackNights. What a blast, as always!
