I have purchased a scan tool I can use on my laptop & it's produced buy Alex Peper the guy that actually wrote the code for the first OBDII scanners.

I have had good luck with his scanner & was looking at his updates as I get free updates for life as I'm not sure if thats my life or his ha ha h.

I just checked out the newest updated has the Cobalts & a newer version of the insterment cluster as I'm wondering since I can program the tach if the red line can be changed as far as the rev limiter.

Also is there a more indepth canner to alow you to actually program the PCM or would that just be a ticking bomb as far as people totally scewing there PCM up ??
