Ya, so I still have my Earnhardt Jr Monte and I'm wondering what is new for 2006 on the SS cobalt. I'm talking major upgrades. I know that it now has availible Recaros. Are they comfy or what? Still considering a trade or sale to get a Yellow SS. Thanks for your help guys.

PS. What is the "out the door price" for a 2006 SS Supercharged? I mean the Final, Final price. What kind of number will I be writing on that cheque in the end?

i dont know about canada, but here in NY, i paid 22,300 out the door for my 2006 ss/sc, the only option available is the g85 package (which i didnt get) but its 1500 extra dollars (US) and it includes the Limited Slip Diff, and the recaro racing seats, which in my opinion look exactly the same as the stock seats, but they say recaro on them, but if you are going for an 06, definately see if you can get the g85 package, the LSD is worth the 1500 alone by itself, i wish i knew about it when i got my car, i would have paid the extra loot.

Limited Slip and Recaro package is the only new option available on the 2006 in Canada. Price wise...idk. I've seen people in Canada claim as low as 22k all the way to 28k.

pfff...get my base at like 12k... sure its a disc...sure its a weaker engine, but when its turboed...worth more bang for your buck....might as well get racing seats in it instead of those recaros...that arent...even...good. savea few thousand
