I want the Hurst also but they have yet to figure out a realease date yet. Seriously, what the hell is going on that they can't get the product to the shelf for us to buy.

Also, I hadn't heard any definitive proof of the B&M being shorter, where did you hear about that? Not doubting you, I just want to make an informed decision.

They are for sale now... I don't know the rules for posting a site but use google. 28% for Hurst, 30% for B&M... I found a Hurst for $139

*edit $132

Hurst and B&M are essentially the same length, the only difference is that B&M rounded up to "approxomately 30% shorter" and Hurst lists theirs at exactly 28% shorter.

I'm going with Hurst no matter how long it takes for the damn thing to come out. Anyone familiar with muscle cars is familiar with Hurst and the quality of their shifters. I've known several people who have had B&M shifters in other cars and have had problems. I'm sure the reason for the delay in the Hurst is because they want to make absolutely sure when they release their product that it will be absolutely problem-free.

I think he meant that he might have to buy a hurst shift knob for his B&M if they fit.

Edit: Thank you alleycat.
