Bolts ons will not. But start doing a second h/e, swapping pullies, meth.... If they see it it could halt warrenty work. Fortunately they never said nything to me even when I left my timeslips and track number on my car one early morning

HAHAHA I could see them poppin you hoood and going wow... thats an awesome looking M62!!!
I/H/D/E, proper guages, then drop pulley size/upsize injectors (port blower if desired) + custom tune + second h/e, then meth. Mounts and trq dampner can be inserted to the formula at anytime. This is jsut the way I would go if I did it over again.
I/H/D/E are the best starters for the car. If you are a warrenty worry wort, go stage 2 w/ nate's 2.9 stage2 puley look-a-like. If warrenty isn't a worry, follow my above method to suit your liking

They have. They stated it was a little harder to change my oil this time and noticed my powder-coated blower.....
I'm lazy and have no place to really change my oil myself. Atleast I do my own tuning and installs (except electrical ****, ugh)

Fixed. It was a loose blower bolt and loose boost/vac hose (that connects to the box thing by the oil cap, don't know technical name). 3 6mm hex key twists and a ziptie later I'm runnin good. I'm out a couple hundred from diagnosing from shops, but it's working.
Wanting an item that makes no performance gain and is just purely for sound (and to impress other people) is pure rice. Sorry to break it to you, but you're living in denial.

In general, people need to STOP ACTING LIKE ASSHATS!!!!
So rims would be rice? Or better yet, TINT. They are only for visuals and just to impress people unless they are light racing rims. Cut him some slack. This board is getting too hateful to newer members. He asked a legit question for someone new to the cobalt or superchargers. Yes there is a search button, but that doesn't always get what the poster wants.

"More contemporary use of the term rice burner, along with the prefix rice, has taken on an alternate pejorative meaning for an automobile that has been modified to give impression of high performance, but does not necessarily have any high-performance capabilities. This practice is in direct contrast to the "stealth" or "sleeper" style of automotive modification, where a vehicle may have major performance modifications, but the appearance remains similar to that of a stock model. In this manner, the appellation can apply to any vehicle regardless of country of origin. The most commonly modified cars are sport compacts, but the term can apply to any class of vehicle, including trucks."
1) smack your friend in the head
2) NEVER, EVER, EVER take car advice from him. he is a complete idiot, and has no clue what he's talking about.
3) repeat the first step.
