why do i (and everyone else) keep getting shocked!

*gets tin foil* lol i would get those grounding strips but they are FUGLY lol, i tryed touching the black part of the door and i still got zapped....... its really annoying the hell outta me lol

Mine does the same thing. Every time I get out I get shocked as I shut the door. I'm going to get the oil changed at dealer next week and I am going to ask them about it. I'll let ya all know what I find out.

it is a electric current not you aka radio, fuse box etc!
i have no problems in redline but in cavy i gave my bro a voltage stabilizer for the SS it helps with shocking

It happens in the warm weather, the heat and sliding across a cloth seat will create static electricity. I try to touch some metal like the inside of the door with my key which has an insulated grip at the end, this will discharge the current and you'll be spared a potentially annoying shock.
