I have a recommendation for you. If you paid by credit card check to see if you have theft protection. Many do for the first 90 days after purchase and a simple claim will get you your money back.

All you have to do now is just wish death upon the person who stole your **** and their current living family. If it were me, i would also wish death and deformities in their lineage for generations to come. **** there children and hope that they all rot in the fire pits of Hell with demons tormenting them day and night stabbing them with reminder of what they have done. Piercing screams from the demons will make them go meek. This will most definitely help them come to understand the filth they have become. BASTARDS!!!!

dood thats your fault, its not america, u shoulda brought that in the crib right when u got outta the car, if i were you, call insurance company tell em what was stolen, maybe if u still have the receipts or something lucky happens they will reimburse you depending on your company. I had my window smashed before and my gun was stolen... my insurance replaced my gun and my window. and the gun was recovered by the police 1 year later, they offered the gun back. i said no lol.

its already been established that you cant hold him responsible for someone else commiting a crime. and according to your logic its your fault your gun got stolen.....

either way, id doesnt matter if he had it in the house or laying on the hood of his car. jus like there is no reasoning that a woman who dresses a certain way deserves to get raped there is no reasoning for people taking things that dont belong to them.....you got jacked, both of you. charge that **** to the game......

Move to a state supporting the castle law and start shooting these ******* proterozoic scum they call people. This is why i cant wait for "2012" and hope it happens half of the populous does not deserve to use valuable oxygen.

Brutal. A lot of people sleep through that ****. Just the fact there was a large covered lump in the back seat covered with a blanket is enough to draw a smash n grab. It costs nothing to find out whats in the back It wouldnt be that hard to see in with a flashlight.

A couple years ago I woke up to the sound of that clinky jack stand rattle at about 3AM one morning. looked out and saw some dink rolling my neibs tires down the street. He had a sweet 69 maro ss.

I called the cops and gave them the play by play. They parked around the corner and were waiting for the guy... I could hear him saying he just bought them... weak.

I dont talk to people... I dislike people. People suck.

I didnt bring it in, as it was supposed to be..a surprise to the girlfriend.

Safelight Auto Glass cut me a deal, $170 (vs the original $180).

Geico in all of their wisdom decided i'd have to pay, even though I was told last night my policy told me i'd have a $0 deductible since it was a act of vandalism, and I have a police report stating so.

but lets be honest, who would want a stock Cobalt SS stereo system anyway? Wouldnt work with most cars (or so im assuming, since it has the steering wheel controls and sub)...wouldnt they have to of stolen the stereo, the amp, the sub, and my steering wheel?

Regardless, we think we know who did it. I am also sending the bill for the glass to the Apartment Complex. They have no external WORKING lighting on that side, why? Because for whatever reason they dont want to grab a ladder, and replace a light bulb. Which, could of prevented this, since I normally park under this "lit" spot.

If you blame the person who got stuff stolen, then I think your logic might be a little skewed. Its not his fault that someone else is worthless and steals other peoples property. It was in his possession inside of his property. If you suddenly start blaming the victims then where do you draw the line? It is a girls fault she got raped because she's pretty and went jogging a public park? Criminals are always at fault, people love to undermine the real issue. There are things you can do to reduce your likelihood of being a victim though, but just because you didn't take every single precaution in the book doesn't make it your fault.

Sounds to me like they were going to break into his car anyway and just struck the jackpot.

This is exactly why I won't even take the box for my new 46" TV out to the curb with the garbage. I don't want to advertise that I have that **** in my house. There are too many low-life worthles....ahem...."scum" to be polite.....walking around just looking for someone else's **** to take.

I probably have nothing to worry about though if I'd take it out to the curb in the morning. Seeing as how most of these people have no job, no motivation, and are too hungover and/or still too stoned to be up and about first thing in the morning. They wait for those of us who work for our **** to go to work or go to sleep after a long day at work so they can take what we've worked hard for.

I hope they catch the lowlife who took your stuff and put them in a cell for Bubba to have his way with.

It used to be unless you live in one of the bad areas you were safe. Hell at my old apartment we kept the doors unlocked and my neighbors never shut their garage door. Nothing EVER happened. It's not like that anymore. Especially with the economy the way it is, the trash are moving into the nicer areas of town and stealing people's ****.

It just sucks. It used to be you could do whatever you wanted to do and people would leave you alone. I live out by the airport in a good-but-not-great neighborhood, lived here a year and had my garage broken into twice already. Seriously makes me wanna get a shotgun and sit on my porch and just wait for em to show up.

Had someone do a slash and grab on my Jeep 3 years ago. There is not a word to adequately describe my rage at the dregs of society for doing $3k worth of damage to my beloved Jeep to steal a $85 head unit that was 6 years old, $75 150W amp that was 5 years old, and $75 handheld CB that was 4 years old (and that they probably pawned for a total of $10).

I feel for you, OP. I suggest calling your CC company to see if they have theft protection and, if your auto insurance won't cover the items stolen, your homeowners/renters insurance should. But, given the items that were stolen, you may not have enough value to meet your deductible and make it worthwhile to submit a claim that way.

In either case, I hope you can find out who did this and give them a swift kick in the nuts for me....

I moved to the country for that reason. Sure you have some rednecks around here, but neighbors still looks out for neighbors and we have a very low crime rate around here. That said, I still lock all my doors and windows at night.

I think that's why they hit my garage. My neighbors are the same way, they'll look out for one another, but my garage is kind of isolated out on a corner and nobody could see if they were coming in.

Yep, and that's why I lock doors and windows. All it takes is one lowlife piece of **** or one drunk ******* to do irreparable damage to my property or family. Having a big, black dog that has free-roam of the house's interior doesn't hurt, either.

A week ago, one of the cables on our garage door came loose and the door became jammed at ~90% closed (and it was noticeable that it was messed up from the curb). My neighbor thought that I was out of town and my wife was home alone so he decided to crawl under the door and try to see if he could fix it. He got it to close further but realized that he could no longer get out under the door so he decided to go through the house to get back out (not a big deal, he knew where the key was hidden in the garage). He later told us the story that he thought our dog was in his kennel, but that wasn't the case. He said he got about 4 steps into the door and saw his head pop up over the back of the couch and the dog let out one low growl/bark. The neighbor said that, although he knows my dog really well and knew that he wouldn't ever hurt him, he just about had to change his shorts after that!

oh boy, Iowa sounds like a dangerous state. Thugs and Potatoes. I'd hate to live there :/

how long did you leave your stuff in the car? if its been there for weeks and weeks, then you should have known it would happen. if you have 5% tint then obviously someone saw you open the door and put that stuff in.

You'd be surprised how often I get that when I tell people I'm from Iowa.
Fun fact: Pigs outnumber people in Iowa.

at least in PA you can shoot them in the back if they're on you're property In VA they have to be facing you, so if they are walking away with your **** you cant shoot them or you go to jail

I wouldn't trust PA law. I really wouldn't. It's getting to a point here where the criminals have more rights than law-abiding citizens.
