wiring help?

i just installed some foglights but i would like to run them when my headligths come on and shut off with them as well. can i splice into the headligth wire and attach the white and black wires so its auto?

if you got fog lights and there is a switch usally just wire the switch into the fuse box for your headlights leave the switch switched on then no splicing no nothing and you can hide the switch under dash so if need to turn off you always cann if you have a cobalt just run a wire through the firewall and into the fuseblock for the left low beam or the dirivng light

How do I run a wire to a fuse... lol never done that before. Im guessing there is a special fuse that attaches wire?

its actually pretty easy, you just need the connector, im trying to find a picture of it for you, but im having a tough time
if you know anyone with any electrical knowledge, they will be able to help you, its pretty simple

make sure you put a fuse on there tho!
no need to blow your new fog lights!

I wouldnt hack power out of the headlight, instead wire a relay so you dont blow your headlihgt fuse

yea...dont know how to do that lol so ill just leave it with a switch right now and add an LED to sow it has power so i dont leave them on.
