Yea I got a Cobalt SS for my first car. I learned how to drive clutch on that car. Chevrolet has some unforgiving clutches for the begginers by the way. I dont have to pay for anything for my car except above a 3.0 gpa and pay for the gas. Not a bad deal.

And I got mine rediculously cheap because the dealership gave us the wrong price quote which was about 6 grand cheaper and we signed the contract. So they called the next day and actually tried to get us to pay more. Stay away from Sterling Chevrolet in Virginia. Trust me.

im insured under a 1995 pickup truck so my insurance is real cheap and my mom is like said to be the "main" driver even though it's my car... But if i get in a wreck im still insured... My car was listed at $21,700 and i got it down to $20,186 then i got a $500 dollar rebated from my insurance company for buying a gm car... My dad paid the $5,000 downpayment and my payment is $300 dollars a month for the car...

Just turned 20 and this is my 3rd car ('06 SS/SC). I paid cash for my first car when I was 15. I've been working since I was 13 1/2. My parents raised me very well, I owe it all to them!

how in the hell did you get it for $19,000 there's no way a dealer would have let 5 grand go on that deal! i got mine for $20,186 and that was $100 dollars cheaper than what the dealer bought the car for from gm! I don't have the g85, 6 disc, sunroof, or onstar! Did you get the dealer discount?

got my ss/sc a month after i turned 17. Proud to say i pay for my **** and about 450dollars is taken out of my account for it every month. Its not technically mine cuz they wont give you a loan till your 18 but is getting refinanced the day I turn 18.

I got mine for 20 out the door with g85 and the sunroof. The car had been sitting there for 5 month and the battery was dead when i went to test drive it, soooooo I think they wanted to get rid of it.
