same here...started at 16 now im 17...ill be 18 in about 7 months...*** and yes i have paid for the car all by myself so far...i had 12000 down and i owe about 6 still....and its fully loaded...the only thing i have had help with is insurance and my exhaust uprgade which was a present

they only wanted to give me $5,000 for my 02 civic... i told that dealer to F-off and im going to sell it outright.... I put 5,000 on the down payment and finaced $15,000 for 5 years at 6.9% my payments are 300 a month... (my dad has a perfect credit score)

Im deff the youngest since i dont even have a permit convinced my dad into buying it when i was 14 because we needed a new car he says its mine when i get my liscense. only a few months until im 16 and can get a permit. FYI i know how to drive it (take it for spins on the weekend upstate ).

I know what you mean...I guess I live around a lot of sissy guys...the guys around here don't know crap about cars and it is so frustrating!

haha were in the same exact situation!! If you don't mind me asking are you hot? cause if you are that just makes it 10 times hotter that you know alot about cars and owning one!!

 

bought my 06 ss/sc when i was 18 outright in cash myself. Picked it up for 21,162 no g85 but every other option available. Now I have over 8k in parts in the motor alone and about 4k in other upgrades. Im now 19 be 20 on the 17th of Feb! Woot!

 

I get told that a lot.... be careful though you might p!ss off the person who started this thread...

I'm 23. Just picked one up in December. Obviously paid for by myself. If you're 16 and getting a brand new car I think that's overkill but that's just my opinion.
