Group Buy on SS-TC Charge Piping Kits!
I just installed a set of these pipes today.
Pipes very nice, quality finish, smooth bends, nice weld. very nice lips on pipes, all hardware present and accounted for.
No instructions or diagram of ANY kind.
I recommend rerouting your EVAP plastic hose underneath the coolant line to keep it from being in contact with hot air pipe.
The turbo outlet adapter was too large for the outlet by easily 3/16". I needed to fabricate a spacer to install on turbo outlet before the adapter would fit properly.(owner has pics)
The hot air pipe where it makes the bend over the engine to go down to the intercooler makes hard contact with hood under certain driving conditions. (we clearanced the hood, there are pics)
I chose to replace a radiator support bracket bolt with a shorter one to avoid potential contact.(I think there are pics)

It's all about the flow baby! 3">2.5"
stock or just a bolt on or two you can get away with stock....with all my mods and tune I wanted as much airflow as possible.

BTW - it took me approx. 3 hours from start to finish (including cleanup) to install the intercooler and piping, if anyone is looking for an estimate for how long it takes. Ive never taken the bumper off, if you have it will go faster.
Mine? Its been fine. Long Term Fuel Trim looks good, IAT's havent changed too much from stock (which I was expecting since I'm stock otherwise). Butt dyno feels a small improvement in throttle response and near redline pull, but again, without a tune I wasn't expecting a whole lot.
Now the suspension mods I am loving... which is why my tires are almost bald after 14,000 miles
