Post Adding the Boost Parameter to Your Dashdaq

First off, make sure that you've got the latest firmware and Rescale Signal Calculator module installed on the Dashdaq. To do this, follow the manufacturer's instructions. The Dashdaq in this How-To was running 2.1.6-2096.

Once this is done, you're ready to begin.

Go to Setup>Devices>Manager and find an unused device slot.

Then click Add Device. Go over to the Calculator category and then go down to Rescale Signal Calculator and hit Install.

Once that's done, then exit the Manager and go over to Parameters, within the same Setup>Devices menu that the Manager was in. Go to the previously empty Device letter that you assigned the Rescale Signal Calculator to (mine was slot F) and enter in all of the following information:

What this does is make a parameter using the Rescale Signal Calculator that subtracts the Baro PSI reading from the MAP PSI reading, names it Boost and then puts the psi label on it.

Then all you have to do after that is go back to your gauges page and set the signal of whatever gauge you want reading boost to the Rescale Signal Calculator parameter that you've named Boost.

Enjoy your new boost gauge.
