Young Money Can you post some pics of what your blue looks like?

I did the shifter mod to my car, and the blue looks kinda terrible... Might be I bought some really terrible cellophane or maybe I might put the white piece back in and see what that looks like.. Its a great Idea though. I was thinking maybe a little piece of blue tint might bring out the colour more then the cellophane also..

 

it might be the while piece.... i left mine in at first... looked shty and took it out and it was 10X more vibrant and brighter

 

I didn't do the shift lights cause I couldn't get the god damned plate thing off

I'll try to take a picture of my HVAC lights though... should be the same thing, you know?

Aight sorry for the delay, here is a picture of my HVAC... I left the three bottom buttons white just so there would be a contrast... I don't know if I'll eventually change them... but here you go:


(I only did one layer of blue... I think bio did 2 layers to get a deeper green)

Wow, that looks awesome Young Money... Gonna have to try just one layer and see if that gets the color right, or I might try another store and see if I can get some better Cellophane, cause mine definately doesn't look like that.. but really nice job on both of your guys

Ay yo thanks... seriously I just went to Factory Card Outlet and they had these big ass roles and like two kinds of blue... one was kinda gay lookin and the other was a dark blue...but it was like true blue (pretty sure the package just said "Blue") so yea... good luck

i havent seen anyone else ruin the leds up above the cup holders like i did in the pic up there.... id make a how to but i already did it and it was a pain... did anyone even realize it?

I did up my shifter with an LED.. Looks sweet, think if i did it again I would have used 2 led's instead of one, could have done it too cause the power usage of an LED is way less then the bulb that comes standard. No offense too, but switching to LED was about 4 times easier then doing the cellophone *****.. I lost that clear plastic peice that goes underneath too, but hasnt made a difference really..

just did it with a blue clear folder i had laying around. cut it to shape, it held its own nicely.

 

Just did this with Red. I also did the dome light and the AC lights. Looks good with red L.E.D.s under the seats

 

that looks good and alot easier to do......ill have to give it a try soon
