The easiest way I have found about removing that is to pull the ebrake up and put it in neutral, removing the section around the ebrake first, then the forward and aft panels, you can also remove the front cup holder by sticking your fingernails under the front of it and gently pulling back and up, then once the front is released go up and slightly forward to release the two rear tabs.

Yes, simple removal and installation with the right tools. First remove the a pillars(remove bolt at top then pull out and up), then remove the front part of the dash(where the light sensor is), unclip the light sensor(harness is short so be careful), remove trim(DIC panel, passenger panel, radio panel, and the one controlling interior lights) undo all bolts(7 and 10 mm if I remember correctly) pull up and towards seats, slide out passenger side.
