what i did before taking the needles off was put tape where the needles sat while the car was off. what i did i filled up my gas tank before doing this also so i knew the gas needle would be on full. also turn the key to acc and the needles should jump up to zero and when my car is at idle its normally around 750 rpm so i used that as a reference also. another key is after you turn the key off and open your door the needles will fall down a certain amount and if they all do it then you know you did it right

^ same as what I did but in the pnrd12 going it's an actual bulb, it's about the sane size as a 5 mm led but it goes into an actual bulb socket, no idea what size it is

Yea well that doesn't help cause those lights that were in the radio were pretty damn small and i'm pretty those lights aren't in the PRNDIL panel

I'm assuming the SMT LEDs in the radio and steering wheel are 3.2-3.6V right? That would mean only blue, green, and white LEDs would work since yellow and red LEDs are usually 2.2V or so...

Has anyone successfully switched to red SMT LEDs in the wheel and radio. Sharpie/lens tape only works for so long before stuff starts to fade to pink

Why oh why did Pontiac use red for the cluster, green for the radio and DIC, and white for everything else? Whoever picked the colors must have been colorblind.
