UPDATE ON PARTS INFORMATION

Heres a parts list of leds you will need. I used 12 volt ones for all 3mm ones, which are in everything BUT steering wheel and some radios. I used a smt 0805 led for steering wheel and that is just a normal led.
For a cluster you will need 11 leds
hvac 5 leds
lock switch 1 ea.
mirror switch 1
window switch 1 ea side
steering wheel 1 per button
radio- have not done.

Do you have a picture showing how/where you placed the 5th LED?

I guess Ill be peeling my gauge pod off this weekend too...

just wanted to throw this out there that red is kinda impossible to do this and have it be brightttt.
only way it works bestt is if the inside of the hvac face is painted red along with the plastic pieces.
because white leds and the red insides make it really dim and barely lit up.
and white leds with only the face painted red does the same thing

i think what i decided im going to do is have the left bulb and 2 center bulbs back to stock and leave the 2 leds i got soldered on the temp side. than put the painted insides and face back on and it will be red but not brighhhht red like i wanted. thats the only way its going to look how i want it to

thats how it looks now and it doesnt really match how it wanted it to

if you have a black cat overlay, checkthe backside of it, if they have put the red film there you will be fine, i got a black cat gauge overlay as well and jut installed blue leds in the cluster, reds still red, they had put the red film there when i bought the overlay, bought the black cat leds on a seperate ocasion...but if it does not. if you order the black cat leds they ship thered film with the leds, so i hae some of that red film they use left over to use on my hvac
