How to get rid of the AVS logo, w/ pics (56k, heck no,GTFO!)

I realized that i did not want the AVS logo on my tail light covers, looked tacky, so i searched on here and found some ways to get rid of them. So i figured i'd put those ways up w/ details and pictures, rather than just methods. Here goes.

1. Install the covers, or you can it before you put them on, whichever way is easier for you. I already had mine one when i decided to remove the logo.

2. Next i used an old dish cloth, because it has a good texture to it for scrubbing, and wont scratch deep enough to notice at the same time. In conjunction with that, i used some standard Goo Gone from walmart.

3. I Then sprayed the goo gone onto the towel, which was folded into a corner for easier scrubbing w/ the index finger. I squirted the goo gone until the corner was completely soaked in the goo gone. PS i dont recommend spraying it like the picture shows, that is an example only.

4. Then take that soaked corner and tab it onto the logo. DO NOT SPRAY IT ONTO THE LOGO, THE GOO GONE WILL RUN DOWN THE COVER ONTO YOUR PAIN, STRIPPING YOUR WAX JOB, AND POSSIBLY CLEAR COAT IF LEFT UNTREATED. Tab it onto the logo until there is a decent amount on the logo. A Good 15-20 seconds of dabbing should do it.

5. After dabbing it, reapply Goo gone to that corner since it is probably less wet now and can easily scratch the cover if dry. Apply a generous amount. Then with your index finger to the corner you folded, begin rubbing lightly, and increase pressure as needed. You will see the logo slowly fade away.

6. Repeat step 5 until logo is completely gone! After it is completely gone, wipe down tail light and surrounding part of car to ensure there is no goo gone sitting on paint. After all that, of course do it to other side. And you should end up with a finished product like this!

Sorry if pics are crappy, 2.0 mp cell phone camera! you get the idea though.

Or you can simply use nail polish remover. Will take the lettering right off!
