How To Install Billet Grilles
Here's an easy way to change over the front grille to the billet grilles.

2006 Chevy Cobalt 2Pc. Billet Grille
Installation Instructions
Hardware Kit: (8) 1 ¼” Fully Threaded Studs (8) K-Lock Nuts
(2) 2 Hole Powder Coated L-Brackets (2) Powder Coated L-Brackets
(2) Small Powder Coated L-Brackets (2) Speed Clips (2) #8 Screws
Step 1: Remove the plastic clips from the top of the factory grille shell and the plastic filler
panel. Once all of the clips are removed then set the plastic filler panel aside.
Step 2: Remove the large screw form each side of the front fascia.
Step 3: Gently rock the upper portion of the front fascia forward enough to gain access to the backside.
Step 4: Once you have access to the backside of the front fascia, unclip the grille shell from the front fascia and remove it from the vehicle completely.
Step 5: Using an air saw or die grinder cut out the cross bars from each of the two separate openings. DO NOT REMOVE THE CENTER BAR BETWEEN THE TWO
SEPARATE OPENINGS.
Step 6: Using a file or fine sand paper smooth out the rough edges left behind from cutting.
Step 7: Reinstall the factory grille shell back into the front fascia by reversing the process from step 4.DO NOT RE-ATTACH THE FRONT FASCIA TO THE VEHICLE AT THIS POINT.
Step 8: Install the fully threaded studs into the threaded holes in the backside of bottom half of the billet grille.
Step 9: Place the bottom half of the billet grille into the lower opening on the factory grille
shell.
Step 10: Place the 2 hole powder coated L-brackets over the 2 pairs of fully threaded studs in the middle of the billet grille (Figure 8) and place the single hole L-brackets over the fully threaded studs on the outer edges of the billet grille.
Step 11: Make sure that the bottom half of the billet grille is centered in the opening and secure to the vehicle using the k-lock nuts.
Step 12: Install the fully threaded studs into the threaded holes on the backside of the upper billet grille.
Step 13: Center the upper billet grille into the top opening of the factory grille shell.
Step 14: Place the small powder coated L-brackets over the fully threaded studs and secure using the k-lock nuts.
Step 15: Mark and drill the mounting holes for the top mounting tabs on the upper billet grille and secure to the vehicle using the #8 screws and speed clips.
Step 16: Re-attach the upper portion of the front fascia and the plastic filler panel using the
hardware from steps 1 and 2.
Installation Is Now Complete!!!!!
