You want to tap into a fuse that powers down when the car is off. Your radio doesnt stay on when you shut the car off does it? So if you tap into the radio fuse the Gauge will shut off with the radio. If you tapped it into your dome light, then it always has power going to it so then so would the interceptor. To me it sounds like you didnt tap it into an accessory switch and you need to tap it off somewhere else. Use the radio fuse or the stock boost gauge wire. both of these power down when the car is off.
for those wondering about the shift light....read the instructions :P
you have to go into your menu and turn your datarate up to its maximum (which happens to be 1)
your shift lights ONLY work when your guage is datalogging at its highest speed.

Looks great! I'm gonna order one along with the AEM wideband gauge. I'm gonna get CA's 3-gauge pod and put the stock gauge, and interceptor, and wideband. Does the stock gauge fit in the CA 3-gauge pod? Also since I can't tap into the stock boost gauges wiring, I have to go to something in the fuse panel. Are there unused fuses in there or will something have to share power? Finally, is the wire easy to run(as in no drilling through firewalls or anything?) I'm no electrician so sorry about questions about basic stuff lol
Anyone?...please...

hey good write up, quick question because i bought this gauge but im some what noob. all the data it proclaims to read is purely plug and play? in other words, just by installing it like you did we'll be able to recieve all this data?
Yep, any of the 25 or so parameters...2 at a time.
this only took me 20 minutes and that inclided trying to figure out what size socket to use...... BTW i used a 9/32 (i think) socket to get the a-arm off. i did it all while sitting in my car and only having the light under the rearview mirror. now im gonna read the directions to figure out how to really sue it....
Yeah, that's how I have my interceptor installed...However, in my opinoin, and in a lot of other people's opinions, it would be better to get power from the fuse box. At the time I installed it, I wasn't really there.....I was kind of....tipsy lol
dude idk how accurate this thing is but im pulling 229 horse power in 3rd gear pulls
The hp calculator isn't accurate, everything else is though. Oh and the 1/4 mile time is slightly off, the trap speed is about 3 mph high from my experience. But yeah, the best $225 i've ever spent in my life. The guage works wonders. I just wish it was able to calculate a/f ratios.
the info for the aeroforce interceptor says it can scan and clear codes could this product turn like low coolant light off? and or move up the rev limiter? and i heard something about data logging do i have to hook this to a computer?
I have had an Interceptor installed for a long time. That install is kinda getto. My gauge came with a metal bracket to go over the threaded studs on the back to hold it in place rather than using tape or rubberbands. Also, don't butcher your harness, run a separate power cable to the fuse block! HOLLA!

Can I just tap the pink wire to get power? I want to keep the stock boost gauge and put this in with it on the piller.
