Yeah, that's the same year and model as mine Takes5tries.
Skitzianist,
Between THOSE 2, I would choose the 1st.
And color, since your balt is silver, I'd get white.

Are you using the resistors to dim the lights? As well how many ohms are those resistors? I couldn't see the resistors good enough in the pic to grab the color code

What I reccomend you do, is strip some of the insulator off of one of the 12v wires, and connect your LED's to those.
(don't forget the switch you should have to turn them on/off).
Later on, I might wire them to my headlights, so when they come on, so do the cupholder LEDs.

I've never really did any wiring n a car before so I was hoping you could answer some questions for me.
1. How do you tap into the cigar lighter (what color wires hook up to what)?
2. What is needed to hook into the fuse block, where would you put the fuse at and how do you hook into the fuse block.
If you could answer these questons I would greatly appreciate it and pics would probably help greatly.

The wire you want to tap into for power isn't black. The ground is though. I'd use two in line taps (A piece of plastic with two places for the wire to run and has a metal end that you press into the wires to complete the circut) Just run the lighting off that if all you are runnign is the leds. There isn't enough current rinnign through them to pop that fuse I wouldnt' think. LEDs use like a milliamp of juice a piece. It'd take a bunch of them to pull even one amp.

My kit is done and installed
pics:
During installation I only used two resistors per each cupholder instead of the recommended 3, to make the cupholders brighter

nope i touched the ground to the power wire and POOF went fuse...oh well, they have replacements in the fusebox (i wired into the accesory outlet....canstant power even when keys are out and everything, I can turn them on whenever I want, as opposed to going to the power outlet). Its so damn hard to mount a damn thing in these cars! 4 months later, I STILL dont have the back right LED mounted (blew all the LED's...whoops!)

buy something with a sensitive box connected, splice into the line after the box, and there you go...its just a box that controls that.
