Mine started idling kinda weird today, I'm hoping they hold up, but now I'm concerned.
yea i would say everyone that bought them go back to stock just in case. number 1 is the worst of the 4 but they all are doing it and you cannot just buy the springs or the boot you need to buy the whole ******* coilpack which is gay.
I think it's the coating that's the problem it just dissolves into a green powder, is that what silver is supposed to do when heated to oblivion?
Got a link to those ace springs? I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Update:
I pulled mine back out and put the stock ones back in. It doesn't look noticeably different where I put the Dielectric grease, but the ends are pretty crispy looking. Luckily the ghetto re coil I did is holding, so I should be set.

Green powder = copper corrosion. Apparently whatever he used corrodes under high electrical/temperature loads

I don't know about green powder=copper corrosion because I never got that with the stock springs and I'd assume they are copper. Could be but I don't know off hand. Were they copper coated? It was a LOT of powder in each boot.

Personally, I swapped back to stock and noticed no real difference in performance. It was a good enough reason for me to leave them out.
I figure if you coat them with the dielectric grease they should last a fairly long while, but the fact that the stock coils lasted 63k with no wear, while these took less than 100 miles to get a little crusty was a bit unnerving.

I still have mine in and have put about 2000 miles on the car since then. All seems well, although I have had some misfires since then... I'm not sure if it is the coils or not. I might remove them and take a look...
Anyone think it is worth keeping these installed?

i love when people buy things that are
1. not needed...
2. not proven product...
3. throw money away...
jmo
that solid piece you replaced was a much better condutor of electricity if you ask me... tisk tisk...
