that solid piece you replaced was a much better condutor of electricity if you ask me... tisk tisk...
Mine were FREE! Didn't cost me a damn thing. And I still notice a smoother idle.

Hey Rich, you keeping yours in or removing them? I'm kinda up in the air now on whether to take them out or not? I have been getting some random cylinder misfires from time ti time... However that was when I drove to the beach (sea level AFR's)...

Yea, and speaking of free, he sent me two sets for some reason...

How do you know if it's a proven product or not until somebody mans up and tries it?

Well, 500 miles today with these springs and no probs. I do notice a smoother idle , especially with a/c on. Report back in another 500.

I have an ETD set to the stiffest setting and an exhaust so I hear and feel every hiccup the motor makes and I haven't felt or heard anything differant fromt he day I installed them. Plus I have intercepters and I monitor misfires from time to time and I still have 0 misfires...

I'm glad I held off like I did or they'd be in mine right now

I had a feeling this wasn't worth the money since he had zero proof

GM ignition does very well on most cars...even modified, so I'm not worried

for the guys keeping them in good luck I hope they don’t corrode your coil packs like they did mine. also keep your stock springs since GM does not carry or have the springs even for sale you will need to buy the whole dam coil pack.

as for my car the grease does not help and I have to stay at 50%throtle to keep the car from jerking. it does fine at full throttle but I try not to hit it too often since im worried that it may hurt more than just the cat. it will not idle well at all since it misfires and sounds like ****. o well one of us had to be the lab rat and now I know better next time lol.

I have to agree, it doesn't sound healthy at all. Both Ryan and I know first hand what your car sounds like. Its a shame that $6 springs messed things up for you.

Well I'm removing mine right now... Just pulled them all out and the bright shiney silver springs are now as green and corroded as a bag of 1963 pennies... Back in the stockers go. Useless mod...

hey cav like i said when i emailed you even with the grease it did not matter if you want i can send you what my springs look like since i had to change coil pacls becasue the springs ate them. so for the $7 i spent originally i now have spend about$300+ becasue they fucked the coil packs up. btw when i took the coil packs off the springs no longer even touch the inside of the coil packs it kinda looks like it disintagrated a little becasue they no longer reach from spark plug to the coil pack. now it may have been just a bad batch i dont know but when i had them in i did feel better throttle respons and the cars idle was alot smother.

hey man i have a new batch of wire now maybe the wire was bad all the other guys have never had problems but the wire i used for your guys cars was a new battch aand size i had to use....i am sorry u had a problem but like i said we have been making these and people been running for last 7 years on other gm cars okay......do u want new batch and use dielectric grease from go also where people live weather conditions i know people prob say bs but if u live near the ocean and all or rains alot all factors moisture in the air corrodes stuff faster.......again very sorry but my product works just seeing i maybe have issues with the 2.0 cobalt springs......

yea send me another batch ill re try them on the old coil packs to see if they would do anything. i do live right on the ocean but i dont see how the ocean air would get in the area in which the springs are set. like i said whne they were new they worked really good for idel and throttle responce. im wondering if the 2.0's spark is alot more than the normal ecotechs and that maybe the problem of being to much for the springs and it eats them???? im not sure what ill do is ill get some pics for you cav and ill send you a pm showing what they look like now its not pretty lol.
