1. Remove your headlights to gain access to your blinker bulbs.

2. Remove your stock bulb and insert the LED switchback bulb. I recommend that you bend the pins out from the base of the bulb so when the bulbs inserted the pins make a 100% connection. If you install your LED bulbs and they do not turn on, take the bulb out and flip it around.

3. To wire up your resister take your quik-taps and connect one wire from the resister to the blue wire comming from the socket of your blinker bulb, then take the other wire and connect it to the black wire that runs to the OEM harness plug.

 

i finally just got a set of switchbacks, but the parking light is orange and the blinker is white. i want it the other way around. Will adding the resistor do anything for that, or is there a way i can reverse it?

 

What if I remove the switchbacks will I need to remove the resistor? Or can I leave it?

 

just double checking before i do this but the OEM harness plug is the blue one correct?

Will switchbacks fit in aftermarket headlights?
