Exhaust: How-To: Installing HIDs W/ Relay Harness
Couple things I wouldn't mind seeing added to the install.
1. On the stock headlight housing there is a bracket that hold the bulb in place. i had to pull the wiring for the HID bulb through the bracket to get these into place. Was that the correct way to do that? I found no mention of it. The bracket is round if that helps
2. I thought it might be best to not have the EXTERIOR LIGHT function turned off in the DIC menu. Seems like it's a good idea for HIDs

ok i got a relay with my lights but i still kinda flickering what do i wire to the fuse box just on the post in the one of the pics it looks like something is done to one of the actual fuses
I know this is an old post but... I followed these intructions to the letter and my driver side hid still doesn't turn on. I ran a week with my HID's before a relay. They worked fine (if I had my car on high-beams so it could provide more power) but after a few days, my driver side light would turn on when I turn them on (for about 1 second) and then shut off.. I tried installing the relay today. Now the passenger side light turns on brighter and without the need of putting my car on high-beam mode (which is good and means my connections are right) but for some reason, the driver side won't turn on at all anympore (not even for 1 second like it did earlier today). Any common mistakes or something that I'm not seeing!??
Thanks..
Thanks..
