Alll I have to say is that paciants(sp) is the key. If you have none find someone who does. I have to ask this much tho....... How did you get the mesh to stay? I know you used glue but I'm little boggled. Also, how did you cut the mesh? This is mine held in with some zip ties.

Although it looks better now but I got no pictures to show.

where did you get the SS thing from in the front
how did you take off the original plastic grill pieces??
The original plastic slats have to be cut out with a Dremel or something along those lines. That "SS" emblem can be bought at the dealership or online at crateenginedepot.com, or you he may have removed it from the back of the car or something.
1. Take stock grill out. Two pop tabs on driver side and few across the top and on the passenger side. There are two square socketed plastic screws on the inside of the grill that can only be accessed from the backside of the bumper.
so how do i get those screws out??

I got a square headed screwdriver and was able to reach them by sticking my arm in the opening where the hood latch is. But first remove all the other tabs/screws so that you can free up enough remove to get your arm in there.
liquid nails. first i cut the mesh out to shape (i used one piece) then i folded the edges of the mesh over and into the slots for the tabs on the grill, then once is was in there pretty good on its own, i ran a bead of liquid nails around the outer edge of the grill to hold it there permanently. problem is that when i was putting the grill back on the car, the top section came undone and you can see a little bit of the adhesive through the front of the grill. barely noticible though, im still happy with it.
and a few words of advice to those who do this in the future: WEAR GLOVES! this **** is extremely sharp. there is a trail of blood from my car to my apartment from when i was installing the lower grill.

Save the $ and go to Revy its cheap and u can do this mod on a saturday for a few hours.... well worth it.
hmmm... so the piece of the grill/bumper that goes across that holds the badge isnt actually attached to the bumper?? and that whole section is actually a grill?? wow gotta check that out, i always thought u had to buy a whole new bumper in order to replace the grill. but i might try this when i get a chance, but i might cut out the middle piece that holds the badge (if that is possible) and go badgless.
unless you're really good with bondo/fabricating, i wouldnt tackle removing the whole middle section. the part the badge is attatched to is part of the bumper itself, but the grill is separate (which also has a bar going across the middle, to support the bar the badge is mounted on)
